Zhang Fei is a hero infantry unit introduced in update 141935 of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. He is present in campaign scenarios and is available in the Scenario Editor. He has a unique appearance and uses unique voice lines, which do not change with the assigned civilization. As a hero, he is immune to conversion and can regenerate hit points.
Special abilities[]
Furious Taunt: He has a special active ability which temporarily slows nearby enemies:
- The ability is activated by clicking its icon in the unit's command panel.
- It takes 4 seconds to wind up.
- It reduces the movement speed of enemy units in a range of 10 by 80% for 10 seconds.
- It has a 90 second cooldown, which starts recharging after the ability's duration.
