Yu Ji is a hero unit introduced in update 141935 of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. He is present in campaign scenarios and is available in the Scenario Editor. He has the appearance of an East Asian Monk (the same as Bui Bi). As a hero, he is immune to conversion and can regenerate hit points.
Like other Monk heroes, he cannot pick up Relics.
Special abilities[]
Area Healing: He has a special active ability which heals friendly units in an area around him:
- The ability is activated by clicking its icon in the unit's command panel.
- It heals all nearby friendly units at 150 hit point per second for 6 seconds (thus healing each unit by 15 hit points).
- It has a 90 second cooldown, which starts recharging after the ability's duration.
