Yekuno Amlak is an infantry hero available in the Scenario Editor in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. He was a Solomonic ruler of Ethiopia from 1270 to 1285.
In-game, he is represented by a Shotel Warrior. Like other infantry, Yekuno Amlak is affected by all technologies that affect infantry as well as any other bonuses that affect them. As a hero, he cannot be converted and can regenerate health. He is one of the starting units in the Battle Royale Fall of Axum map.

- Ruins of Empires: Since the Definitive Edition, Bantu Chieftains occupying Swahili villages are all renamed Yekuno Amlak.
- Estado da India: Before Dynasties of India, Timoji the Pirate Lord was a renamed Yekuno Amlak. He offered his services if his ship was reclaimed from Zamorin's forces.
