Yasuko is the titular character and primary protagonist of the Yasuko's Tale campaign in Age of Mythology: Retold - Heavenly Spear. She is a hero who starts with only a healing ability, alongside immunity and Relic collection, but lacking any way to attack at the start. Further abilities (charged shield and a ranged attack) are unlocked over the various scenarios.

Special abilities

• Divine Immunity (Passive): Cannot be targeted by god powers which target a single specific unit.
• Sacred Hands (Passive): She can pick up and deposit Relics in Temples.
• Heal (Active, automatic): Heal an injured allied unit, restoring it to full hitpoints. (all except basket form)
• Celestial Shield (Charged): Invokes an overshield to protect nearby friendly units. (Spear form only, adds an additional bar of 35 hit points to friendly non-Titan units in range 15 for 10 seconds. Recharge time: 15 seconds)
• Sunbeam (Passive): Fires a focused ray of sunlight, dealing great damage. (Spear form only)

Story

She is a simple peasant girl who is entrusted with a mysterious spear called Ame-no-Nuboko by an injured warrior, after which her village is invaded by Tengus, starting her adventure.
