| —Wonder effect description | ||
The Wonder Age is the fifth and final Age in Age of Mythology: Retold. Instead of researching a technology of the same name like the previous Ages, players reach this Age as soon as they finish constructing a Wonder.
It replaces the Titan Age added in Age of Mythology: The Titans.
Effects[]
The effects of attaining this Age, and as long as the Wonder remains standing, are:
- A trickle of 1 favor per second.
- Rechargeable god powers cost -75% favor and their cooldown is reduced by -75%.
- God powers that scale with later ages (such as Lure) also become stronger.
- Myth units, including Titans, have +100% attack, +100% hit points, and +20% movement speed. Visually, myth units are also 30% larger.
- The Titan Gate can be rebuilt. The Titan Gate god power can be recast after 10 in-game minutes since the last cast, for a cost of 400 favor that multiplies with each subsequent reuse.

God bonuses[]
Shennong:
Mythic Age myth units spawn automatically as the player earns favor.
Overview[]
Due to the extremely high cost and time needed to construct a Wonder, it is not tenable in most 1vs1 matches. In team matches, especially on maps which benefit booming and defending, the Wonder Age becomes easily attainable.
The Wonder Age also differs significantly from the previous Ages in the following ways:
- It does not give players the choice of minor gods.
- It does not grant access to any new buildings, units, or technologies.
- No god power is gained by reaching this Age.
- Players will regress back to a previous Age (in this case, to the Mythic Age) upon losing the Wonder.
- It does not change the models of any buildings, but makes myth units appear larger.
- Outside of the previously stated effects, it grants no general Age advancement benefits to unit statistics (e,g., heroes gain no further bonus). God bonuses that depend on Age also don't grant any further benefits, unlike god powers.
Trivia[]
- In the Fall of the Trident campaign, the player can reach the Wonder Age only in the final scenario, A Place in My Dreams.
- In the Pillars of the Gods campaign, the player can reach the Wonder Age in the scenarios Overcoming Fixations and Divine Intervention. In the latter, the player must construct and defend Nüwa's Wonder to complete the scenario.
