“ | A mysterious white animal. Servant of the Circle or a legendary beast? | ” |
—In-game description |
The White Buffalo is an extremely rare and white bison which makes its only appearance in the Respect scenario of Act II: Ice in Age of Empires III. As a secondary objective, the player has to recapture the Buffalo and return it to the Lakota village for 550 XP.
The Buffalo has the same model as the Bison except it has ivory white coat that stands out. Unlike its brown colored counterparts, the player has control over the White Buffalo and it makes a low grunting sound.
The White Buffalo will be vulnerable from attack by hostile invaders and should be escorted with troops until it reaches the flag poles of the Lakota village.
This unit is also accessible in the Scenario Editor.
