Warwolf is a technology in Age of Empires II: The Forgotten that is unique to the Britons and can be researched at the Castle once the Imperial Age is reached. Once researched, it causes Trebuchets to deal Area of Effect damage in a 0.5 tile radius. Additionally, it gives Trebuchets 100% accuracy against stationary units.
Strategy
Warwolf is a huge boon to the heavily range-based Britons. When researched, Trebuchets can become an effective substitute for Mangonels and work very well as an offensive and defensive tool. Trebuchets, already effective at destroying a random unit in a formation, are now able to kill multiple units per shot. Additionally, it can help to deal with armies that British archers might have trouble with. They also become much more potent against enemy Trebuchets or Bombard Cannons.
