Warwolf is a technology in Age of Empires II: The Forgotten that is unique to the Britons and can be researched at the Castle once the Imperial Age is reached. Once researched, it causes Trebuchets to deal Area of Effect damage.
Strategy
Warwolf is a huge boon to the heavily range-based Britons. When researched, Trebuchets can become an effective substitute for Mangonels and work fabulously as an offensive and defensive tool. Trebuchets, already effective at destroying a random unit in a formation, now are able to kill multiple units per shot. Additionally, it can help to deal with armies that British archers might have trouble with.
