Wandering Town is a unique technology available to the Rus in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the High Armory in the Imperial Age. After researching, Battering Rams deal 25% extra damage, and regenerate 2 hit points per second while attacking.
Changelog[]
- Originally, Wandering Town provided +100% damage. With update 6.0.878, it provides +50% damage as well as 2 hit points/s regeneration while in combat. With patch 9.2.628, the damage bonus is reduced to +25%.
Campaign version[]
Because the original four campaigns have not been rebalanced since the release of the game, Wandering Town has the following differences in those campaigns:
- It costs 50 food, 375 gold
- It only increases Battering Ram damage by 8% in addition to granting them health regeneration
Trivia[]
- The name of the technology comes from the Russian "Gulyay-gorod", a type of mobile fortification similar to the Hussite Wagon.
