The Varangian Arsenal is a unique building available to the Macedonian Dynasty in Age of Empires IV: Dynasties of the East starting in the Feudal Age. It houses unique technologies that combine the effects of most civilizations' Blacksmith and University technologies. Additionally, it also generates an influence area around itself that causes Mining Camps and Town Centers to passively generate silver over time based on the total amount of silver deposited by Villagers. The Arsenal serves as the player's only means of spending silver until the Imperial Age through the unique technologies it houses, each of which can be upgraded up to twice per age starting in the Feudal Age, for a total of six times overall.

Varangian Arsenal Influence (influence): Mining Camps and Town Centers within the influence of a Varangian Arsenal begin generating an additional 12% of Silver every minute based off the total Silver deposited at the influenced mine.

Multi-research[]
The multi-research technologies at the Varangian Arsenal replace Blacksmith and University technologies for specific types of units or buildings. They can be researched twice per Age starting in Feudal, up to 6 times in total. The cost of a technology increases each time it's researched.
The cost of the technology is doubled every tier up to the first three tiers given an initial cost, after which 1,000 is added. As such, given an initial cost x, the cost of all tiers of the technologies are x, 2x, 4x, 8x, 8x + 1000, and 8x + 2000.
