Vanish is a Chinese Classical Age god power in Age of Mythology: Retold - Immortal Pillars that is available to worshipers of Xuannü. When invoked on the ground, it makes friendly units in a radius of 20 invisible. The invisibility of an affected unit lasts for the duration of the god power (30 seconds) or until they attack any enemy unit or building. Vanish cannot be cast in an area where no valid units (which are not already stealthed) are present. Units under stealth refrain from attacking nearby enemies, no matter their stance, or if they were tasked to attack move.

Strategy[]
Affected units remain in stealth as long as they do not attack anything. This can be used to hide villagers while they work, including construct forward buildings, as they will not be visible to the enemy, or to sneak units around to a less defended area of the enemy's town for a surprise attack. Scouting is also made easier, as uncovering enemy-controlled areas is much easier without any enemies to hinder the scouting unit's progress. However, releasing a Sky Lantern will cause a Pioneer to lose their invisibility.
