Upside-down images[]

I was wondering if you could help explain a technical hiccup: some of the wiki's images suddenly appear upside down. As an example, look at the Fortress Age page - all of the politicians are now upside down (but they were fine until recently). If you look at the file page, it's also upside down, but if you then click on original file, it's right side up. It seems to only happen to the images uploaded by one specific user (User:Nikitazero), but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Do you know why this is happening, and what can be done about it? Alternatively, do you know who we can contact about it?Narve (talk) 16:52, July 10, 2019 (UTC)

Theme designs[]

Hello Tephra! I have a problem with infobox themes here. I added one to the MediaWiki:Themes.css (resources), but it seems not to be working (see here). What did I do wrong there? MasterBroccoli (talk) 10:17, September 15, 2019 (UTC)

It seems I cannot fix the issue myself. The themes in general are working fine, however, a new theme I added (resource) is only partially working, apparently. I used in on this page. Another new infobox was added (and used here), however, there is the same issue. The header color seems to be working, but the label color does not. There, the color from the unit infobox is used for some reason. We would like to be able to customize the label colors. MasterBroccoli (talk) 20:02, September 18, 2019 (UTC)

Hi again! The resource infobox is working now, however, the character infobox (used here) still has the same issue. It feels like this is an easy fix, how do I get the label color to work? MasterBroccoli (talk) 15:49, September 25, 2019 (UTC)

I was able to fix the template, there just was the accent color missing. Silly me. Thanks anyway for your ever quick reply. MasterBroccoli (talk) 06:02, September 26, 2019 (UTC)

Template issue[]

Hi! I have a problem with a template. The template myth units looks good, I want the god power template to look the same (slimmer lines), but cannot make it work. Can you help me out there? MasterBroccoli (talk) 16:32, October 28, 2019 (UTC)

Walkthrough guide[]

I tested out the walkthrough guide when it appeared, and I think it gave a good introduction to teach new users how to edit - I saw no obvious ways to improve it.

I've seen no feedback, so I don't know how many people used it, but I see no harm in continuing to have the link on the wiki.Narve (talk) 10:11, October 30, 2019 (UTC)

Discord[]

Hi! I do use Discord, my name is MasterBroccoli there as well. MasterBroccoli (talk) 08:38, November 25, 2019 (UTC)

Sorry about that. Don't actually use Discord much. #5706 MasterBroccoli (talk) 16:52, November 25, 2019 (UTC)

Mobile Main Page[]

I believe I've fixed the problem now.Narve (talk) 18:24, December 15, 2019 (UTC)

Mobile civilization pages[]

I was wondering if you could help us figure out why many of the civilization articles on the wiki aren't showing up correctly on mobile. For example, the Chinese article is fine, but the Incas article only shows the infobox and the for-template. We used to think that this was caused by Template:Civilization tabs (which is why it was set to "infobox" and not "navbox"), but in that case, it should affect all civilization articles the same.

Could you help us? The problem is only visible on mobile, and doesn't occur in the mobile preview on desktop.Narve (talk) 17:11, December 26, 2019 (UTC)

Topic card[]

Hi! I think our background image here is pretty representative of the series. Narve suggested a high-quality image of the Knight, which I think is also a good idea, but I don't know if you can use a square image. MasterBroccoli (talk) 10:09, January 5, 2020 (UTC)

I haven't heard back from the user I asked to upload a Knight picture yet, but I guess the Cataphract icon can be used. Is this what you were looking for?Narve (talk) 08:16, January 11, 2020 (UTC)

Commenting disabled[]

Hello. Whenever I edit an article, the comments section becomes disabled. Previously, this has been related to the "Commenting" checkbox, but even when it is checked, the comments section is disabled. Can you figure out what's wrong?Narve (talk) 16:27, 26 November 2020 (UTC)

Never mind, it seems to be fixed now.Narve (talk) 20:03, 26 November 2020 (UTC)
