The Golden Age is a campaign in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition by the user The Forgotten Bulgar. It depicts the events in the First Bulgarian Empire from the second half of 9th c. and first half of 10th c. during the reign of Boris I and Simeon the Great (with the brief spell of Vladimir Rasate in between). Among them are the resque of three of the Seven Saints and the Glagolitic alphabet, the creating of the new Bulgarian alphabet known as 'Cyrillic', the conflict between Vladimir and his father, the conflict with the Magyars and the Boulgarophygon battle (896) against the Byzanthines, the Battle of Achelous (917), etc.
