โ | I am slain! A thousand curses on you, Tamerlane and Tokhtamysh! | โ |
—Last words in Amir of Transoxiana |
Urus Khan is a mounted archer hero in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition.
He appears in Amir of Transoxiana, the first scenario of the Tamerlane campaign, where his nephew Tokhtamysh Khan intends to kill him with the help of Tamerlane. He also appears in other scenarios and campaigns as renamed hero (like 'Hranislav' in A Most Unlikely Man - the first scenario from the Ivaylo campaign). He is also available in the Scenario Editor.
Though the unit is unique, it operates identical to that of an Elite Kipchak, albeit with higher armor, attack and health. Like all hero units, it is immune to conversion and regenerates health.
Campaign appearances[]

History[]
