Unique technologies are technologies in Chronicles that are available to only one civilization. They can be researched at the Fort. Unique technologies are disabled in the "Full Tech Tree" option.
Every civilization has access to two unique technologies each in the Classical and Imperial Ages, and must choose between them. In Imperial Age or Post-Imperial Age game starts, no exclusionary unique technology is researched.

Sparabaras: Immortals and Spearmen +2/+1 armor.
Reed Arrows: Bowmen, Cavalry Archers, ranged Immortals, and Galleys fire 25% faster (-20% reload time).
Scythed Chariots: War Chariots have +60% trample radius.
Sagaris*: Melee cavalry deals +2 unblockable damage to units.
Athenians[]
Taxiarchs: Strategoi give an additional +1 attack to nearby infantry and cavalry, and their aura is 33% larger.
Trierarchies*: Monoreme-line's charged attack recharges faster, deals more damage, and deals trample damage.
Eisphora: Hoplites cost +15 food, -15 gold.
Delian League: Ports and Shipyards increase the attack speed of nearby warships.
Spartans[]
Helot Levies: Spearmen, Skirmishers, and Villagers train 50% faster.
Xyphos: Hoplites and Monoremes +1 attack for every 5 nearby enemy military units [max +3].
Agoge*: Maximum armor boost that Hoplites can gain from their aura increased by +1/+1.
Peloponnesian League: Monoreme-line +5 attack vs. Galleys and Forts slowly generate gold.- The Spartans also have access to certain Polemarch technologies.

Veteran Chiliarchs: Recruitment Doctrines become 33% more effective.
Ends of the World: Fortified Outposts heal nearby allied units at 30 HP/min.
Pezhetairoi: Phalangite minimum range halved.
Sarissophoroi: Companion Cavalry gain a speed charge attack.
Thracians[]
Odomantian Raiders: Infantry and cavalry gain 3 and 5 gold from killing enemy military and civilian units, respectively.
Dii Plunderers: Spearman-line, Levy-line, Hoplite-line, and Rhomphaia Warriors generate 3 wood/5 food/4 food/4 gold per minute, respectively, while attacking enemy buildings.
Bessian Metalworking: Levy line, Lancer line, and Rhomphaia Warriors strip armor from targets when attacking.
Peltasts: Skirmishers deal 50% pass-through damage.
Puru[]
Vadhฤvadha: Sannahyas have improved trample damage.
Leaf-Headed Shafts: Pattiyodha Longbowman point-blank range damage improved.
Vedic Teachings: Each technology researched at the Academy increases Villager work rate by 2% [max 20%].
Skandhavaras: Forts can be individually upgraded with Emplacements.
Defensive Emplacement: Fort +1,500 hit points, +2/+2 armor
Offensive Emplacement: Fort +1 range, +3 attack- Offensive Emplacement and Defensive Emplacement are unlocked to improve each Fort individually.
