Uncle Frank is a fictional character[1] in the Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition version of Act II: Shadow, replacing Crazy Horse. Uncle Frank fights alongside Chayton Black against Sheriff Billy Holme and later, General George Armstrong Custer. He appears in three forms in the game. Two of them are as mounted units, and one as a decorative infantry.
Uncle Frank appears as this mounted unit in the scenario Battle of the Greasy Grass. This unit deals no damage to treasure guardians.
This version may be used in some cutscenes as the unit uses no player colour. This unit too deals no damage to treasure guardians.
The unmounted version of Uncle Frank is used in the some of the campaign cutscenes. This unit cannot attack and is purely decorative.
