Tupi Animal Lore is a technology in Age of Empires III that can be researched at a Trading Post built on a Tupi settlement. Once researched, it allows Buttercup the Pet Cougars to be trained at Town Centers and heroes.
Although the in-game description since update 9476 states that the technology allows Buttercup the Pet Cougars to be trained only at heroes, they can still be trained at Town Centers.
Strategy[]
Tupi Animal Lore is largely useless as while it adds some population free units to the player's attack force, it is hard to work them out into a strategy against flesh and blood opponents.
