Tufanci Corps was a technology in Age of Empires III that was unique to the Ottomans and could be researched at the Mosque once the Fortress Age was reached and the Palace Intrigue Home City Card had been sent. Once researched, 15 Janissaries appeared in the Home City shipment point.
Strategy[]
Tufanci Corps is useful when wood is abundant but food is not, or the player needs immediate reinforcements. It allows the Ottoman player to save 1,500 food, 375 coin at cost of 1,000 wood.

- This technology was named after the Turkish name for an Ottoman musketeer corps.[1]
- The Ottoman Expeditionary Force, Ottoman Expeditionary Army and Ottoman Brigade, available for the Indians in The Asian Dynasties through the Consulate by allying with the Ottomans, includes Janissaries that are renamed to Tufanci Corps and gets upgraded in every Age.
