—In-game description |
The Town Ceremony (Town Dance before the Definitive Edition) is a ceremony available at the Community Plaza for the Aztecs, Haudenosaunee, and Lakota once the "Town Ceremony" Home City Card is sent. It increases the hit points and damage of all buildings except Walls.
One villager working at the Community Plaza increases the hit points of buildings by 6.5% and damage by 3.3%. With 25 villagers, the hit points is increased by 185% and damage by 86%. With 15 villagers and 10 Warrior Priests, the hit points is increased by 277% and damage by 124%.
As the percentages count over the otherwise final amount, as opposed to the base, certain buildings can receive exceptional amounts of hit points; for example, fully upgraded Aztec Nobles' Huts can receive 28,299 hit points, or even 30,562 hit points with Flying Buttress researched, and over 30,000 for walls, being much stronger than fully upgraded Chinese walls (which usually have the highest hit point walls, after the "Great Wall of China" card has been sent). In the Definitive Edition, Town Ceremony no longer improves wall hit points.
