Timber Harvest is a Chinese Archaic Age god power in Age of Mythology: Tale of the Dragon that is available to worshipers of Shennong. When cast, it increases the wood gathering speed by +80% for a duration of 50 seconds.
Strategy
Timber Harvest is similar to Isis' Prosperity, although it provides a faster gathering of wood rather than gold. It is best used in the Classical Age as this is when it will be necessary to construct important buildings, such as Houses, War Academies, and the Armory. The player should consider first researching Hand Axe and Wheelbarrow to increase the gathering rate of Peasants and the amount of wood they can carry. Bow Saw should also be researched if it is affordable. Then the player can either cast Timber Harvest with several Peasants woodcutting to have an abundance of wood or when they need to assign Peasants to other tasks and still ensure a steady income of wood.
