The Shogunate is a great Japanese Wonder that you can build to advance to a later Age. Once built, the Shogunate sends you a special Daimyo unit at no cost. This Wonder decreases military unit costs and training time. It also lets you retrain lost Daimyos.

The Shogunate gives the player XP and ships a Daimyo when built, and has Country in Chains which reduces the cost and training time of land military units, as well as being able to retrain Daimyo.
Country in Chains (Passive Ability): The Shogunate decreases the cost and train time of your land military units. (land military unit cost -5%, train time -10%)
Delivers Daimyo Kiyomasa; enables Daimyo Kiyomasa to be trained at the Shogunate
Daimyo Mototada
Delivers Daimyo Mototada; enables Daimyo Mototada to be trained at the Shogunate
Shogun Tokugawa
Delivers Shogun Tokugawa; enables Shogun Tokugawa to be trained at the Shogunate
Forty-Seven Ronin
Transforms all villagers and Shrines into Masterless Samurai; Castles into Wokou Ronin; Wonders, Town Centers, and Command Posts into Ronin; Masterless Samurai speed -1.0; costs 1,000 food, 1,000 wood, 1,000 coin (arrives in 47 seconds)
The Shogunate gives 600 XP when advancing to the Industrial Age.
