The Mongol Empire is a campaign in Age of Empires IV. In The Mongol Empire, the player plays as the Mongols. The campaign is based on the history of creation and expansion of the Mongol Empire from 1213 to 1273, and is divided into three parts:

1. Shock and Awe — Fight against the Rus in the Kalka River and defeat the Jin empire by taking its capital, Zhongdu.
2. Conquest — Conquer the Rus principalities and impose your military might against the kingdoms of Central Europe.
3. Domination — Dominate the Song Dynasty with your siege tactics and establish the largest empire the world has ever seen.
