The Beast is a campaign-exclusive siege engine available only to the enemy Franks in the The Defense of Tyre scenario of the The Sultans Ascend campaign in Age of Empires IV: The Sultans Ascend. It is essentially an improved version of the Tower of the Sultan, with improved damage per second, range, fire armor, garrison space, and significantly increased hit points. It is, however, slightly slower and has much less ranged armor.

Defeating The Beast is the final goal of The Defense of Tyre scenario. Horsemen are the best unit with which to attack it due to their torch damage and ranged resistance. Spearmen technically do more fire damage per cost, but will fall quickly to its ranged attack, which has a bonus against them. Its siege attack can quickly take down any building it reaches, but due to its immense size and lumbering movement, it can be easily blocked by units.
