The Tent is an unconstructable building in Age of Empires II HD: The African Kingdoms. Like Houses, Tents provide five population. Tents are only available in the Scenario Editor.
Campaign appearances[]
Tents appear in the following campaign scenarios:
Saladin[]
- The Siege of Jerusalem: There are two Tents in the starting camp.
El Cid[]
- Reconquista: The Black Guard forces have Tents in their settlements.
Battles of the Conquerors[]
- Manzikert: The Seljuk Turks have Tents in their starting base.
- Tours: The Berbers have multiple Tents in their town.
Prithviraj[]
- Born of Fire: Ghaznavid raiders camps in the north contain multiple Tents. Prithviraj's starting camp is also made of Tents.
- The Digvijaya: Dacoit camps surrounding Ajmer are composed of Tents.
- The Fate of India: Northern and southern Ghorid bases have multiple Tents inside them.
- The Legend of Prithviraj: Ghorids have numerous Tents in their territories.
Bari[]
- Arrival at Bari: Tents are present inside Saracen camps dispersed around the map.
Francisco de Almeida[]
- Lion of Africa: The Banu Arous have several camps composed of Tents. Destroying the Tents stops their raids. There are also some Tents belonging to the Barbary Pirates, and some in El Araich.
Tamerlane[]
- Amir of Transoxiana: Toktamysh has a Tent in his initial town. There's also a Tent on the outskirts of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate's base.
- Gurkhan of Persia: Tamerlane's and Toktamysh's bases have several Tents in them. There are also a couple of Tents in the pass leading to Tabriz.
- Harbinger of Destruction: There are several Tents in Edigu's base and in Sarai.
- Sultan of Hindustan: Tamerlane's forces and the Timurid army have several Tents in and around the western camp.
- Scourge of the Levant: The Mamluks have Tents in their camp. A mining camp in the south that joins Tamerlane also has Tents.
- A Titan Amongst Mortals: The player, Sultan Bayezid's army camp and the Ottoman Auxiliaries under Tahertan Khan have Tents in their camps.
The Hautevilles[]
- Guiscard Arrives: The Saracens have several Tents in Sicily.
- Roger in Sicily: Emir Ibn at-Timnah's men have several Tents in their camps around Sicily.
- Bohemond in the East: There are numerous Tents belonging to enemy forces outside of Antioch.
Thoros II[]
- Outlawed: The Seljuk settlement has several Tents in it.
- Of Turncoats and Traitors: The Seljuk camp contains multiple Tents.
Ismail[]
- Road to Royalty: A few Tents are present in Ismail's camp.
- Khata'i: Ottomans have several Tents in the area of the initial battle.
Tamar[]
- Yury's Revenge: A single Tent is present inside Yury's camp.
Victors and Vanquished[]
- Gaiseric: Many Tents are present in Mauri bases.
- Ironside: Several Tents can be found in Qurtubah's base. Kutama also has several Tents, and Ifriqiya has Tents in the southern settlements.
- Komnenos: The Fatimids have five Tents in the north of their base.
- Seljuk: The Oghuz Turks have tents in two of their army camps which are on the path to Ghaznavids. Several Tents are present outside the southern camp of the Buyids.
- Temujin: The Tatars have many Tents in their camps.
