The Temple of Equality is a religious landmark in Age of Empires IV: The Sultans Ascend, available to the Japanese and Sengoku Daimyo in the Feudal Age. For both of them it acts as a Buddhist Temple. As such, it can train religious units, hold Relics, and research religious technologies.

For the Japanese, the Temple of Equality unlocks the building of additional Buddhist Temples and the unique religious upgrades that come along with them. However, it does not have any technologies unique to itself.

For the Sengoku Daimyo, the Temple of Equality is not required to build Buddhist Temples, but it can research additional technologies unavailable at the Buddhist Temple and reduces the cost of Ikko-Ikki Monks at all buildings by 25%.
