Age of Mythology
In Age of Mythology, Temples are used to create Myth Units throughout the Ages. They are one of the most important buildings of the game, as they are required for advancement into the Classical Age. They are also used to train Priests and Myth Units in the Egyptian civilization only, Hersirs and Myth Units for the Norse and Pegasi and Myth Units in the Greek civilization.
