Teak Masts is a unique technology available to the Abbasid Dynasty and Ayyubids in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the Dock starting in the Feudal Age. Once researched, the hit points of all military ships is increased by 10%.

- Originally, Teak Masts was available in the Castle Age, cost 100 wood, 250 gold, took 60 seconds to research, and increased the Dhow's hit points by 100. After the naval rework in update 24916, it cost 200 wood, 300 gold, took 40 seconds to research, and increased the movement speed of the Abbasid Dynasty's Dhow, War Dhow, and Xebec by 10%
- After update 6.0.878, the cost was decreased to 100 wood, 150 gold, and the research time was decreased to 30 seconds.
- After update 7.0.5861, it was changed to its current iteration. The cost was decreased to 75 wood, 125 gold, it was moved to the Feudal Age, the research time was decreased to 20 seconds, and instead of adding +10% move speed, it adds 10% hit points to all military ships.
