The contents of this page is a bit confusing...it says that there are tribute taxes in AOEI & II, but that one can utilize technologies to get rid of those. Then it says that said technologies are absent from III. I have not played AOE I or III, so as a reader I'm confused about two things: 1) are there tribute-tax-reducing techs in AOEI? The sentence explaining the technologies does not explain which games have it. 2) are there tribute taxes at all in AOE III? It says tribute taxes are present in AOEI and II, suggesting that they aren't present in III; however, it then says that "unfortunately" the technologies are absent from AOEIII, suggesting that they are. Someone please help clarify this.
