The cavalry armor class is an armor class in Age of Empires II. All units that have an attack bonus against this class deal bonus damage against units with this armor class.
Cavalry units[]
The following units have the cavalry armor class and take bonus damage from attacks against this class. The number in brackets indicates the amount of armor. If there is no number, the amount is 0.

- Genitour → Elite Genitour (Berbers and allies only)
- Scout Cavalry → Light Cavalry → Hussar / Winged Hussar (the latter Lithuanians and Poles only)
- Knight → Cavalier → Paladin / Savar (the latter Persians only)

- Steppe Lancer → Elite Steppe Lancer (Cumans, Mongols, and Tatars only)
