Mythology[]
“ | One of the primary principles of Tai Chi is the flow between Yin and Yang. Fuxi and his sister-wife Nüwa traditionally represent this flow between hard (Yang) and soft (Yin), respectively. Another such principle is the conquering of the unyielding with the yielding: under the correct circumstances, softness can be used to conquer toughness. | ” |

Trivia[]
- In Immortal Pillars, almost all Chinese gods, heroes, human units, myth units and upgrades use the pinyin romanization system to spell out Chinese names in English. Tai Chi, however, follows the less-popular Wade-Giles romanization. This is because Tai Chi (originally t'ai chi ch'uan) is the common rendering of the term in English. The standard pinyin romanization for Tai Chi (太極) is Tài jí.
- The Tai Chi symbol (太極圖) is the technically accurate term that is used to describe what many Westerners call the "Yin Yang symbol".
