Swivel Cannon is a naval technology in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition available at the Dock in the Imperial Age. It grants all springald ships an additional cannon attack. The cannon attack deals 15 siege damage and can be fired in all directions, regardless of facing.
The additional projectile also benefits from Springald Crews, but not Mounted Guns.
It is available to all civilizations which have the springald ship, except the Knights Templar.

Abbasid Dynasty: Research speeds are +15%/+20% faster while Golden Age tiers 2/3 are active. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%.- Ayyubids: Research speeds are 25% faster while Golden Age tier 2 is active.
- Chinese and Zhu Xi's Legacy: Docks work 10% faster
- Delhi Sultanate: The technology is free, but takes 12x as long to research (540 seconds instead of 45 seconds). Research speed can be further increased by 20% for each garrisoned Scholar.
- House of Lancaster: This technology is 15% cheaper if King's College has been constructed.
- Japanese: Research speeds are 125% faster at Docks with garrisoned Yorishiro.
- Malians: Technologies take less time to research based on how much gold has been obtained through trade.
