Supplies was a technology in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition that could be researched at the Barracks once the Feudal Age was reached. Once researched, it decreased the food cost of the Militia-line units by 15. For Chronicles civilizations, it decreased the food cost of the Levy line instead.
With the introduction of Supplies, Tracking was removed from the Barracks, and Supplies took its place as the Feudal Age Barracks technology. Supplies was removed with update 141935.

Tactics[]
Since Supplies costs 75 food, this technology starts to pay out food-wise if more than 5 Militia-line units are trained after researching it.
The Gurjaras' Militia line is the cheapest in the game due to their Castle Age unique technology Kshatriyas, which reduces the food cost by 25%, and their access to Supplies, ending with a cost of 30 food, 20 gold (for a total of 50 resources). However, they lack Gambesons, Squires, Champion, and Blast Furnace.
Despite lacking access to Supplies, the Goths have the second cheapest Militia line in the game due to their civilization bonus that lowers the cost of infantry by 20%/25%/30%/35% in the Dark/Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age, so it ends up with a cost of 39 food, 13 gold (for a total of 52 resources).
The Inca also lack Supplies, but compensate for it with their civilization bonus that lowers the food cost of all military units by 10%/15%/20%/25% in the Dark/Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age, so it ends up same as Supplies for the Militia line in the Imperial Age.

Trivia[]
- Despite being introduced with The Last Khans, only one of the expansion civilizations, the Bulgarians, has access to it.
- If a Gurjara player researches both Supplies and Kshatriyas (which lowers military units food cost by 25%), their Militia line will cost 30 food, 20 gold regardless of the order of research. This happens due to a trigger that sets the food cost at 30 if both technologies are researched.
- If the cheat code "above and beyond" is used, and the player has access to Supplies, after researching it more than four times, the food cost of the Militia will be negative. That is because Supplies reduces food cost by 15 per research, instead of -25% food.
- The icon of the technology looks very similar to the icon of a crate of food in Age of Empires III.
- Due to a bug, the technology trees of Chronicles civilizations still shows Supplies as present, even though it is in fact removed for them as well.
