Sun Quan is a hero mounted archer unit introduced in update 141935 of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. He is present in campaign scenarios and is available in the Scenario Editor. He has a unique appearance and uses unique voice lines (which does not change with the assigned civilization). As a hero, he is immune to conversion and can regenerate hit points.
Special abilities[]
- Southland Tactics (passive): Nearby military units move significantly faster. (He grants +25% movement speed to the player's units in an aura of range 10)
Exploding Bolt (active): He has a special active ability which deals explosive damage in an area:
- The ability is activated by clicking its icon in the unit's command panel and then left clicking the targeted area (like attack ground).
- It takes 2 seconds to wind up.
- It causes him to shoot a single explosive arrow in range 8 dealing 50 pierce damage with an Area of Effect of radius 4 (with attack bonuses per infobox).
- It has a 60 second cooldown.
