Sun Ce is a hero cavalry unit introduced in update 141935 of Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition. He is present in campaign scenarios and is available in the Scenario Editor. He has a unique appearance and uses unique voice lines (which does not change with the assigned civilization). As a hero, he is immune to conversion and can regenerate hit points.
Special abilities[]
- Southland Tactics (passive): Nearby military units move significantly faster. (He grants +25% movement speed to the player's units in an aura of range 10)
Master of Persuasion (active): He has a special active ability which can convert an enemy unit:
- The ability is activated by clicking its icon in the unit's command panel and then left clicking the targeted unit.
- The target is converted after approximately three seconds. The conversion range is its Line of Sight[Recheck?].
- Monks and siege weapons can be converted like this without requiring any technology, unlike conversion done by Monks. Heroes are still immune to conversion.
- It has a 15 second cooldown.
