Sudanese Quilted Armor is a technology in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition - The African Royals that can be researched at a Trading Post or Tambo built on a Sudanese kingdom. Once researched, it gives cavalry and shock infantry an additional 10% hand resistance.

The Sudanese Quilted Armor bonus is adjunctive. So if a cavalry unit has 10% hand resistance by default, it will increase its hand resistance by an additional 10% for a total of 20% hand resistance. If the unit has no hand resistance at all, it will have 10% hand resistance.
