Stone Commerce is a unique technology available to the Mongols in Age of Empires IV that can be researched at the Market or The Silver Tree in the Imperial Age. After researching, trade units also drop off stone in the amount of 10% of their base resources. For Traders, this amounts to 10% of their base gold return, while for Trade Ships, this amounts to 10% of their base gold and wood return. The amount of stone does not stack with additional resources gained from the Silk Road civilization bonus.
Stone Commerce (Improved): additionally costs 1,000 stone and further increases the stone amount obtained through trade by +10% (+20% total).

- Originally, Stone Commerce cost 150 food, 350 gold, its improved version cost an extra 500 stone, and it took 60 seconds to research. With update 7.0.5861, it costs 300 food, 700 gold, its improved version costs an extra 1,000 stone, and it takes 90 seconds to research.
