Springald Crews is a naval technology in Age of Empires IV: Anniversary Edition available at the Dock starting in the Castle Age. It increases the attack range of all springald ships by 1 tile and increases their attack speed by 20%.

Civilization bonuses

• Abbasid Dynasty: Research speeds are +15%/+20% faster while Golden Age tiers 2/3 are active. If Preservation of Knowledge has been researched, this technology costs -20%.
• Ayyubids: Research speeds are 25% faster while Golden Age tier 2 is active.
• Chinese and Zhu Xi's Legacy: Docks work 10% faster
• Delhi Sultanate: The technology is free, but takes 7x as long to research (175 seconds instead of 25 seconds). Research speed can be further increased by 20% for each garrisoned Scholar.
• House of Lancaster: This technology is 15% cheaper if King's College has been constructed.
• Japanese: Research speeds are 125% faster at Docks with garrisoned Yorishiro
• Malians: Technologies take less time to research based on how much gold has been obtained through trade.
