Sparabaras is a unique technology in Chronicles: Battle for Greece available to the Achaemenids at the Fort upon reaching the Classical Age. Once researched, it grants an aura ability to Spearmen which grants +1 pierce armor to the player's land units (including non-military units) in a radius of 3 around it.
The player can research only either Sparabaras or Reed Arrows. Once either is chosen, the option to research the other is removed.
Trivia[]
- Sparabara means "shield bearers" in Old Persian, and refers to frontline infantry who fought in a phalanx-like formation.
