Songhai Raid is a technology in Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition - The African Royals that is unique to the Hausa and can be researched at the Town Center or Watch Tower once the player advances into the next Age by choosing the Songhai as their ally. As soon as it is researched, five Raiders spawn at the corresponding building. The technology can be repeatedly researched but with a very long cooldown of 160 seconds that is shared across all buildings which has it.
