Snowstorm is a Norse Archaic Age god power in Age of Mythology that was meant to be available to worshipers of Thor but was cut before the release. When cast, it causes the sky to darken and snow to fall, covering enemy buildings in thick blankets. This prevents them from training units or researching technologies for the duration of the god power. Some of these elements were later adapted into Tyr's Fimbulwinter and Ares' Pestilence.

Trivia

Before being scrapped altogether, Snowstorm was about to have its name changed to Snow Squall.
The name Snowstorm appears in the list of triggers but is merely a code name for Fimbulwinter.
