Strategy[]

Unlike other buildings meant for dropping off resources for the Egyptians and Greeks, the Silo is able to collect all three resources, potentially lessening the usage of wood to build more than one drop-off building. However, the convenience of this matters on where they are placed. It is best to put Silos in-between different resources that are not too far away.

History[]

Grain was essential for maintaining the emperor's rule in ancient China. For a long time, farmers paid the government not with currency, but with various types of produce, with grain being the most important. To secure these resources, large silos were built across China, storing enough food to last several years or even over a decade. Many large-scale battles centered around these silos; defenders could endure prolonged sieges with their stored grain, while attackers, upon capturing a silo, often saw surrounding forces surrender for survival. These massive silos symbolized control and dominance over the region.
