This article is about the building in Age of Empires. For the similar building in Age of Mythology, see Watch Tower (Age of Mythology). |
Template:AoEUnitsThe Sentry Tower is a defensive structure available once the Bronze Age is reached. It is also available to the Scenario Editor and can be seen throughout the Campaign mode of the game. It is an upgrade of the Watch Tower and can be researched in the Granary for 120 food and 50 stone. The upgrade is fairly cheap and can easily take out units from the Tool Age. Every civilization in the game have the ability to construct this Tower.
Technologies
- Architecture increases hit points from 150 to 180.
- Alchemy increases attack by 1 point.
- Ballistics increases its accuracy.
- Woodworking, Artisanship, and Craftsmanship can increase the range from 6 to 9 points.
Civilization Bonuses
- If played as the Choson, the range increases by 2 points.
- If played as the Babylonians, the hit points are doubled.
- If played as the Romans, the building costs 75 stone instead of the usual 150.
