“ | Seminole bow-making techniques improve the damage of all archers. | ” |
—In-game description |
Seminole Bowyer is a technology in Age of Empires III that can be researched at a Trading Post built on a Seminole settlement. Once researched, it increases the attack of archers by 15%.
Strategy[]
Seminole Bowyer is very useful early in the game, especially for the Knights of St. John during Act I: Blood, as they are unable to improve their Crossbowmen with Home City cards.
- It is similarly useful for the British Longbowmen and Japanese Sohei Archers and Yumi Archers as well; both Longbowmen (with the Yeomen card) and Yumi Archers can be upgraded in the last two ages, taking the roles of Skirmishers.
- If a Lakota player can get this technology early on, Bow Riders become extremely effective; combined with Home City Cards, Horsemanship and Ranged Cavalry Caracole, Bow Riders can have almost +40% attack and +25% hit points in the Commerce Age.
