Trivia[]
- Like the Sea Wall, the Sea Gate was absent in The Conquerors's scenario editor, limiting its appearances in the game (without modding) to the Attila the Hun campaign. Unlike the Sea Wall, however, the Sea Gate is also not present in The Forgotten's scenario editor and only appears as a scenario editor object in the Definitive Edition.
- With The Forgotten, the game's data files reveal that the Sea Gate had its attributes altered and was converted into the Palisade Gate.
- Before the Definitive Edition, the Sea Gate's appearance was an amalgamation of Palisade Walls stacked on top of each other (for the sides) and a regular Gate's texture (for the middle). The Definitive Edition's Sea Gate is similarly cobbled together: Its graphics are are composed of a Chain with a Sea Wall on each of its sides.
