The Scout Cavalry is a Civic Age light cavalry unit in Chronicles that can be trained at the Stable. It can be upgraded to the Light Cavalry and Raider in the Classical and Imperial Ages respectively. It is the equivalent of the Scout Cavalry line from Age of Empires II.
In a standard game, the player starts off with a Scout Cavalry. It has a weaker attack and is slower in the Archaic Age, but receives stat buffs instantly upon reaching the Civic Age.
The starting scout unit starts in the Stand Ground unit stance. The Scout Cavalry also cannot attack timid huntables like Deer. They also have the Auto Scout ability.
