“ | Nüba scorches the arrows, bolts, and javelins of your ranged soldiers, allowing them to melt away enemy armor and attack faster. | ” |
—In-game description |
Scorching Feathers is a Chinese myth technology in Age of Mythology: Retold - Immortal Pillars that is available to worshipers of Nüba and can be researched at the Armory, Machine Workshop, and Military Camp. Once researched, it grants the player's ranged soldiers (and White Horse Cavalry) the Searing Point passive ability, causing them to strip away non-Titan enemy unit armor temporarily with each attack, as well as increasing their attack speed.
The biggest beneficiary of this technology is the Chu Ko Nu, as the Searing Point ability affects every projectile that they fire in each volley.
