Scale Armor (previously Dragon Scale Leather) is a unique technology in Age of Empires IV: The Sultans Ascend, available to the Order of the Dragon, that can be researched at the Archery Range starting in the Castle Age. It increases the ranged armor of the Gilded Archer by +3.

• Upon release, the technology was called "Dragon Scale Leather". With an unknown patch,^[When?] it was stealthily renamed to Scale Armor.
