Mythology[]
| “ | Age -- 150 Homeland -- Mount Kurama Occupation -- king of the Tengus Sōjōbō, king of the Tengus, holds court in his grand mountain realm atop Mount Kurama. Somewhat of a trickster figure, Sōjōbō has a neutral relationship with humans: he sometimes harasses the locals that live near his court, but he will occasionally mentor or train students in swordsmanship, military tactics, and magic. He once mentored a young warrior named Ushiwakamaru, and when Yasuko seeks his aid, he agrees to help. Proud and fiercely independent, Sōjōbō supports her cause, though his ultimate desire is to return to his mountain domain. |
