The Rus Tribute is a heavy melee infantry unit in Age of Empires IV: Dynasties of the East, unique to the Golden Horde. It is available at the Golden Tent starting in the Castle Age.
Training Method[]
Like almost all Golden Horde units, Rus Tributes can only be trained in batches, but their cost varies. The base cost is 350 stone for four units, which automatically reduces in cost by 10 stone every 30 seconds. Each Military Building will also reduce the cost by an additional 5 stone, up to a maximum discount of 70 stone. Deploying Rus Tributes manually will result in a 30 second cooldown, and increase the cost by 300 stone. If the cost ever reaches 0, Rus Tributes will be deployed automatically, and the cost will reset.

Rus Tributes are similar to Men-at-Arms.
Rus Tributes do not have a standard Elite upgrade; rather, they are upgraded by advancing to the Imperial Age with the Stone Armies option, which essentially acts as the Elite upgrade. Although the unit visuals, icon, and statistics change, the actual name of the unit does not. The statistics are still presented as "Elite" here for clarity. If the player instead chooses to Age up with the Yam Network Trade option, Rus Tributes cannot be upgraded.
