Roger's Rangers is a technology in Age of Empires III that is unique to the British and can be researched at the Church once the Commerce Age is reached and the The Glorious Revolution Home City Card has been sent. Once researched, it ships 5 Rangers and turns the current Longbowmen into them. Queen's Rangers is the further upgrade of this technology.

- Roger's Rangers costs 2,000 coin, ships 26 Roger's Rangers (Guard Skirmishers), is available from the Industrial Age, and the in-game description is "Ships 26 Roger's Rangers (Skirmishers) from the frontier."
The African Royals[]
- With update 13.690, Roger's Rangers can be researched twice, with the first research in the Commerce Age, which costs 800 food and ships 5 Rangers, turns the current Longbowmen into them and Home City Cards that ship Longbowmen now ship Rangers instead, and the in-game description is "Ships 5 Ranger and replaces your current Longbowman with them. Longbowman shipments now also give Ranger instead."
Knights of the Mediterranean[]
- With update 13.12327, the Roger's Rangers icon has been updated, no longer can be researched twice, the effects of the second research turned into the Queen's Rangers technology, which is now its further upgrade, and the in-game description is "Ships 5 powerful Rangers and replaces your current Longbowmen with them, too. Longbowmen shipments now grant Rangers instead."
- With update 13.27885, researching Roger's Rangers no longer replaces Longbowmen from shipments with Rangers, does not replace the "Yeomen" and "Siege Archery" Home City Cards with "Baker Rifles" and "Ranger Combat", respectively, and the in-game description is "Ships 5 powerful Rangers and replaces your current Longbowmen with them, too."
